Scott is a set up against Horansky

He did rather better than that.  He actually won:

L32:  (Q) Scott Clayton WR 776 (= CH) defeated (6) Filip Horansky (SVK) WR 367 (CH = 317 last August) by 2 & 5 biggrin

*****

And, what's more, he gets a fellow qualifier in the next round! wink

L16:  (Q) Scott Clayton WR 776 vs (Q) Elie Rousset (FRA) WR 980 (CH = 454 in July 2013)

Elie Rousset is the guy I feel rather sorry for, suspended for 6 months (3 months' fixed), because the Italian guy in the main draw had food poisoning and was going to go on court, play two points, and retire, just to get his cheque. But decided to leave his place for Rousset (the lucky loser) and Elie paid him the first round prize money. Broke the rules so the sanction is fine (for both guys) but very understandable, and no harm done (in my view) or intended.

Ed Corrie beat him last year at Quimper.

You'd think common sense would be applied in that situation, but evidently those that make the decisions have very little. What else is new?

I'll let Scott concentrate on the doubles now, well for this week
