Was a shocking display. Although the wind did appear to be playing a part, I know it's the same for both players but if it picked up during your service game then it's surely going to throw you. As someone has said over 100 points already.
Oh Kyle can certainly play and is a great prospect to reach top 50 and then who knows. Going back to November's Buenos Aires Challenger title, which counts to the race, he has accumulated 213 points and lies #21 in the race, the big majority ahead of him being players who reached the L16 in the Aussie Open
It is a concern though that yesterday was quite so bad for whatever reasons and he has been there not dissimilarly last Autumn. Comparing these performances to some others and the vibrant player of the first two sets vs Goffin in the Davis Cup Final is night and day.

Kyle has progressed massively from this time last year, indeed he nearly cruised through the field here, but again an opportunity to sit back and review the last two sets dispassionately, would he play them again the same way?
To progress in tour events he will have to beat less talented players when playing below par. Shame about the wind it really did make it a lottery.
