Holds to love, throwing in a couple of aces for good measure. 1st set in the bag 6-2

Is it me or has he changed his service motion just very slightly? It seems a little bit looser and more free-flowing.

Looks quite jerky to me, but that might just be a problem with my download speed wink

That was about as routine as it gets. Think the commentator said Kyle only lost 4 points on serve in the entire match. Meister had nothing with which to trouble Kyle other than the odd ace. Apart from that, Kyle controlled every facet of the game.

Easy. Kyle is the real deal and will be stepping up to the main tour very shortly. He should now be favourite to take the title.

Plenty of points too defend, so still needs to play Dallas next week and miss Memphis if need be.

I noticed it had changed too - it seems a lot more like Andy's service - perhaps indicative of the amount of time they've trained together

It is good to see him beating much  lower ranked players  with ease, but I feel the opposition today will be sterner.  Duckworth beat the American youngsters Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz in straight sets so clearly is playing well.  If Kyle is feeling good, I'm sure he'll come through....  There is plenty of tennis to watch this w/e!

This will be a tougher match, but I agree he's nearing the real deal for the main tour. Just needs to toughen up over those 5 set matches. Should get plen of DC experience this year....
