At least their little section has the lowest seeds.

Not sure if ideal but would be fascinating to see an all Brit clash for a last 16 spot. May need a step up or two though.

On the face of it, a decent draw for Joss & Anna.

Ah, now registered : Shuai Peng - doubles WR 1 in 2014 and partnering Su-Wei Hsieh (also WR 1 during 2014 ) won Wimbledon 2013 and the French Open 2014. She ended 2014 doubles WR 3.

For whatever reasons she didn't play much last year and not at all after the French Open.

This year with Chen Liang, the pair were quarter finalists in Shenzhen then ran into Hingis & Mirza in their first match (after a w/o) in Sydney last week (lost 6-2 6-3).

If some rust shaken off and getting more back in touch be afraid

You'll remember Peng very sadly had to retire from her US Open SF in 2014 with heatstroke.
After that, she was injured with a very bad back injury that required surgery and wrote off 2015.
She returned this January in Shenzhen.
Hopefully she's still rusty, otherwise it's likely to be a terrible draw - she is an excellent, intuitive doubles player, and, yes, former WR 1.

Harsh but i dont think there's all that many pairs in the draw I'd be expecting Joss and Anna to beat the way things are going for them

Rain delaying both our doubles pairs getting going.

I see that bet365 suggests just under a 40% win chance for each of our pairs. Lucky I don't have an account or I could get unpatriotic about one of the matches

But go all !!
