Third time lucky for Jamie in a Grand slam final it is!  Jamie a (with Bruno) & AO men's doubles champion! ban-woohoo.gifjump.gif

Final:  (7) Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares (BRA) CR 29 (7+22) defeated Daniel Nestor & Radek Stepanek (CAN/CZE) CR 101 (19+82) by 2-6 6-4 7-5 biggrin

 

Change of partner more than justified in next to no time!  Let's hope Andy can emulate his big brother!

 Watched the last half at a tennis centre.....can assure you that you weren't the only person screaming at the screen!!

Bruno maybe had a dodgy start to the final ( I didn't see ), but I did see the last games and he was so solid, so reassuring.

Well done both Jamie & Bruno, each their first men's doubles Grand Slam win

Jamie up to WR 2, Bruno back up to WR 10 ( pretty crap, but I'll guess he'll do for now )

Without looking, I assume that CR of 12 would make them the third highest ranked pairing behind the Bryans and Rojer & Tecau?

Edit: Ah, didn't realise it was Melo #1.
