Grants/funding to clean our courts

Hi,

I've recently joined the committee of a club with excellent facilities but few members. One of the reasons is the poor state of the astroturf courts. A good clean would get them as good as new but it's something that would cost well into 4 figures, probably nearer 5 figures. We currently have about £600 in the kitty! Anyone got any suggestions as to which organisations we could apply to for funding to help us? It's currently a bit of a vicious circle we are in - few members due to poor courts = no cash to clean courts = fewer members etc.

Help/suggestions appreciated.

Many thanks

Contact your local LTA county office.  They will be able to tell you what grants are around and will offer advice on how to apply.

Lots of funds. These are both registered charities so you can find details on the government charity commission website.
