The luck of the draw ...... the seeded player has the highest ranked opponent!

Yes.  But I think Imran has got the toughest draw against a guy who was Top 200 just 2 years ago.

----------------------------------------------------

QF: (Q) (3) Marcus Willis WR 477 v (WC) Pedro Sousa (POR) WR 785 (CH 199 Nov 2013)

Sousa took out Imran in the 1ts round and then 7th seed (Ghorbel) in the 2nd, although by retirement. Sousa was 6-0 4-1 up at the time. Dangerous former Top 200 player and no doubt coming from Portugal, is a bit of a clay court specialist.

I knew Sousa would be a tough draw for Imran despite being a WC ranked 785 and so it proved as Sousa went on to take the title.  Mind you, he had a pretty easy ride.

R1: 6-3 6-1

R2: 6-0 4-1 retired

QF Walkover

SF: 6-4 6-2

Final: 6-0 1-2 Retired

To retirements and one walkover in five rounds. Nice work if you can get it.
