OK. A bit more about Kyle's opponent who in all honesty, I knew nothing about until 10 minutes ago having only vaguely recognised his name,
Muñoz de la Nava is 33 years old and had only ever won 6 matches (out of 15) at ATP level prior to today. Has made Nº 75 in the rankings by purely accumulating points on the Challenger tour. ATP Media Info is saying that before today, he hadn't won an ATP level match since 2013 !! Guessing he is probably a clay court specialist too.
Have to think that Kyle is in with a real chance here. But on the other hand, Muñoz has just beaten Feliciano Lopez, so let's not right him off completely LOL.
Mightily impressive from Kedders, he looked to have made a step forward winning on clay and performing brilliantly at the DC final, so these results are very encouraging and he must have a real shot at the top 50 assuming he stays fit and healthy. Also like the coach change, Coric had a very good start to his senior career under his tutelage.

Were you reading my mind ? I was wondering about Kyle's coaching situation. Who is he working with at the moment ?

I'm constantly trying to read your mind lol, I had just assumed that his coaching change would have been discussed on the forum. As Priesty says, it's Ryan Jones, who helped Coric so much whilst he was training in London.
Great win but have to admit I was pretty hopeful given his DC performance over 2 sets which will serve him well at 250 level, another good opportunity to make progress and gain confidence on the ATP tour before really testing himself out over 5 sets in the GS's.
Perversely I am really regretting my attempt at top 10 predictions and should have predicted 1 for Murray 2 for Kyle etc... At 63 I may have knowingly underestimated Kyle in the vain hope of being right ... when I really just want the UK boys to do as well as possible!
R1: (2) Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares (BRA) CR 29 (7+22) beat Radu Albot & Martin Klizan (MDA/SVK) CR 176 (75+101) 6-3 6-3
But did I beat SC to posting the result ?
Only because I was still on my way home when the match finished. Don't let it go to your head, Bob! Didn't see any point in posting the fact that they'd taken the first set when I left work.
QF: Jérémy Chardy & Paul-Henri Mathieu (FRA/FRA) UNR (*) vs (2) Jamie Murray & Bruno Soares (BRA) CR 29 (7+22)
(*) I presume they got in on the strength of PHM's singles ranking, as he currently has no doubles ranking, though a CH of 103 from September 2008, while Chardy's ranking is 46.
