Looks like a favourable draw on the face of it, but if the Indian wildcard has played well enough to get to this point (I confess I haven't a clue who he beat to get there and haven't time to check), then he might be more of a handful than he appears. Good luck Aljaz.
V impressed with Bedene, this is never an easy tournament, sports people more often then not get ill when they to India, due to poor food hygiene conditions, i.e Delhi Belly, this means the average Indian wildcard players can flourish.
Let's hope Bedene can avoid a potential Naan Bread (Banana Skin) in the next round, as he has points to defend.

Decisive win in R1, but the Indian WC has also benefitted from the withdrawal of Kevin Anderson, the number 2 seed, a benefit that hopefully Aljaz will now take over.
Ramanathan beat Gimeno-Traver WR 98 6-2 6-0 in R1 and then beat LL Kudryavtsev WR 164 ( who inherited Anderson's bye into R2 ) 3-6 6-4 6-4 in R2.
