In Bournemouth this week, Lisa W is a wildcard entry (and top seed).

Also, Aimee Gibson, Serena Nash, Mollie, Holly Hutchinson, young Gemma Heath (as well as Erin Richardson which seems unlikely as she's made the main draw in the ITF at Notts)

Is there any relation between British Tour results and UK ITF wildcards?

yes. And to Wimbly Q play-offs.

From the LTA website:

Feed Up to Aegon GB Pro-Series

Wild cards to Aegon GB Pro-Series tournaments will be available to British players (within a 12 month period) as follows.

(Men & Women):

  • Winner of ABT Premier or Tier 1  events will receive a wild card into the main draw of an Aegon GB Pro-Series tournament ($10k)  - to be determined by the Mens or Womens Tennis Team
  • Winner of ABT Tier 2 will receive a wild card into the qualifying draw of a mens Aegon GB Pro-Series tournament ($10k)  - to be determined by the Mens or Womens Tennis Team
  • If a player wins 3 ABT Tier 2 events during 2016 they will receive a wild card into the main draw of an Aegon GB Pro-Series tournament ($10k) - to be determined by the Mens or Womens Tennis Team

Players need to make a timely request to the appropriate person in the LTA Mens or Womens Team. Which event the wild card is awarded, is at the discretion of the LTA Mens or Womens Team.

LTA Wimbledon wild card play offs (16-17 June 2016)

1. Felixstowe (Premier Tier) 22-27 May, the winner of the Mens & Womens events will receive a wild card into the LTA Wimbledon Wild Card Play Offs. If the winner does not require a Wild Card, this will be offered to the runner-up. If the runner-up does not require a wild card then the wild card will be released.

2. A wild card slot will also be allocated to the player at the top of the Aegon British Tour leader board after Felixstowe (22-27 May). If not required by the player at the top this will be offered to the second placed player, and then down to the 3rd placed player only. If the wild card is not taken up then it will be released.

BT Wimbledon this week and have just found a fb site covering the event with clips of matches, interviews with players etc.  Currently just men's qualifying on there but presumably coverage of the women will be included as the week wears on.
