It's only round the corner for Lisa (based at Bath)and the Aussie swing doesn't start until the end of the month so they are probably flying out at the weekend or early next week.

Great to see Helen Parish back on the draw list of a tennis tournament.

At Sutton this week, there's also Serena Nash, a WTA-ranked Australian player (Elizabeth James), and an American one (Eva Siska), Beth (of course), Jasmine Asghar and Sabrina B (as well as Mollie, Savannah, Aimee, Lisa etc. etc.). Seven WTA-ranked players in total.

Congratulations to Britain's Holly Hutchinson and Elise van Heuvelen who beat the two foreign WTA-ranked players.

Always nice to clock up a victory against a ranked player.

Sabrina B, Savannah and Jasmine are other ranked players who won. Other Quarter-Finalists are Helen Parish, Serena Nash (who defeated Aimee, who is ranked) and Beth.
