The Pitak girls are having a great little sortie down in Exeter.

Kasia defeated top seed Louise Holtum, very easily, in the quarters. And Ola defeated Alice Gillan without too much trouble, either, also in the quarters.

Pleased to see them having a good run.

The Indonesian player Athena Nathalia is also into the semis, having beaten second seed Camille V-Anderson.

Athena is ex-345 in juniors and now listed as a private hitting partner/tennis coach and sports psychology grad from the uni.

Ema Lazic is the fourth semi-finalist.

In the top half of the draw there's:

Beth, Dommie, Eden Silva and Mollie.

All went according to plan with wins for Alice, Alicia, Bronte Murgett, Lily G, Anna Chesca, Iman Garshong, Mollie, Louise, Georgie Walker and Megan Forster.

Pleased for Eva, I like her and her tennis. Alicia has had a warm-up for next week, so that's fine too.
