This result interestingly means Josh will be in Wimbledon pre-qualifying as the leader of the British Tour Leaderboard.

Good.

As Quarter-finalist (pretty sure) in Junior Wimbly, grass is obviously something he's comfortable on.

Good luck, Josh !

This week is the British Tour at Wimbledon.  Have just stumbled across a fb page giving little 20 second clips of matches, interviews with winning players, the organiser explaining the tour etc.  Currently mens qualifying going on but presumably they will run it through the week.  Well done whoever it is at the LTA who is dipping a toe in the water of publicising / promoting these events.

Final not played due to weather.......rumour has it the guys were offered an indoor court by the referee, but only if the cost of it came out of their prize money!!!!!!!  (Wonder what the entry fee was supposed to cover??)

Seriously ????? That actually made me laugh .....

The players did the right thing - call it a draw, split the prize money, tell them to take a hike....

Wonder what happens re the points for the Leaderboard.... Again, just split them?

Holly tweeted that there wasn't indoor backup - for the girls anyway

holly @hollyhxo Jun 25
when your final is cancelled because the tournament doesn't have indoor back up and you have to split the prize money

Think the girls were given the same option as the lads - there was an indoor court at a nearby commercial centre but not at the LTA's expense....no

Assuming this is true ( and I almost simply laughed like CD in utter astonishment ) that is an absolute disgrace.
