R2

R3

Emma Shasteen (SWE) v (3) Kylie Bilchev

Seedings are difficult to work out for under 12s because of the lack of international competitions, but they have proved accurate here as the top 8 seeds all make the last 16

R3

(3) Kylie Bilchev d. Emma Shasteen (SWE) 6-1 6-2

R4

(9) Punnin Kovapitukted (THA) v (3) Kylie Bilchev

Good stuff Kylie. Already showing someone to keep an eye on.

Shame for Holly Fischer but good to see her step up to an older age group.

And the top 8 seeds contest the quarters, with only the 8th seed having dropped any sets so far

R4

(3) Kylie Bilchev d. (9) Punnin Kovapitukted (THA) 6-3 6-3

QF

(5) Charlotte Owensby (USA) v (3) Kylie Bilchev

A little more information on Kylie. She turns 13 in February. She is based in Ipswich and the family had to raise the money themselves to get to the Orange Bowl as they put a profile on the pledgesport site. and a nice profile.

I agree wholeheartedly it is enlightening to see the enormous amount of time and effort that goes into the junior tennis scene at the elite level. Great to see the kids progress and some transition to pro tennis. Thanks
