During the quiet period, it may be time to look at how you expect the 2016 rankings to pan out.
Quiet a few of us fell foul to the Bedene switch, the likes of Tom Farquharson deciding to hardly play at all and the numerous injuries during the year that have held back players
I need to have a think, but I might go for a slight unconventional approach this year.
Are we going to play that predictions game again? Because I'm well in for that if it happens.
It's a difficult one because you've got certain players who've shown excellent potential (Cam Norrie, for example) who's playing at college so won't have the time to compete in huge amounts of tournaments, whereas people like Farris who graduated and seemed to tail off - will he make a return this year? And then there's Evo - will he continue in the same vein as the back end of this year and push onward to new heights? Plenty of issues with plenty of players to consider.
Say it quietly, but my list may have 4 Brits in the top 100...

I'll try and remember to enter this time. Anyone heard any news of players plans? Has Dan cox stopped playing to take up his coaching role? Also was Marcus involved in that as well? Also I assume Ed Corrie has been out with Injuries?
In other news first Entry list for 2016 released Brydan and Evo down for Happy Valley Challenger and Liam is low down the Alt list for Bangkok.
1. A Murray 3
2. K Edmund 48
3 A Bedene 65
4. D Evan 106
5. J Ward 122
6. B Klein 165
7. A Ward 234
8. E Corrie 245
9. D Smethurst 265
10. L Bambridge 330
I was dithering with the others:
Broady, Willis and Glasspool must be in the mix for the 10th spot
Cox - I reckon will only play part time if that
Milton - I reckon may struggle this year to defend his grass court points and may pack in if he cannot maintain his ranking
Willis - plenty of promise, but rarely fulfils his promise
Gabb/Hoyt/Rice and Pauffley - should all be around the 500 mark
Andy Murray-3 Bedene 55 Edmund 35 J Ward 200 Evans 80 Broady 250 Josh Goodall 1 Cox 350 Glasspool 250 Klien (to play 50 challengers) and still be 200.
Josh Goodall 1
the comeback kid of the century!
Long time members of the this forum will remember in 2010 when Mr Goodall took a few digs at me for criticizing him. Two diamonds in his ears and 5 years later.....nice to see his will break the worlds top 10....
