Scott has taken the first set against Alex 7-5
Jonny a break up in the second
I'll correct myself - it looks like a straight shootout between Jonny and Scott for the last spot on the top 25 table, unless of course they both have great weeks and climb several places.
No, nor did I. Glad, of course, for Mr Clayton. But hope that Mr Ward is well and not too discouraged - and that the doubles (and next tournaments) are happier for him!

Both Scott and Jonny will be in the top 25 table on 28/12.
As per the current 14/12 table, Scott's already in at 25 ( 24. JWH 28 pts, 25. Scott 23 pts )
On 21/12, with as you said JWH's points dropping off and Scott gaining 1 and dropping 2, it will be : 24. Scott 22 pts, 25. Tom F 20 pts. Jonny ( gaining 2, dropping 1 ) and Matt S will also be on 20 pts but Tom should be ahead on less tournaments played.
And now in running for 28/12 :
24. Scott 22 + 1
25. Jonny 20 + 1

Thanks Indiana - it helps if I had read the table properly and realised that Scott was already in

L32: Scott Clayton WR 847 defeated (1) Alex Ward WR 335 by 5 & 4
Alex hasn't been having a great time recently so I had an inkling that this might happen when I saw the draw - given the odds, I was even tempted to place a small bet on it but Alex is one of my favourite players, so that would have felt a bit treacherous!
