And within 30 seconds of each other, both GB players take the first set 7-5

Neil leads 4-3*. Neil broke in 6th game, but was broken straight back.

Neil had an opening there, got a set point on FB serve, but Brtnicky holds for 5-5

Really tight match, but Neil keeps knocking at the door and finally it breaks down, taking his third set point (and having saved a couple of game points) to take first set 7-5 :)

Looks like very professional performance on face of it, Neil won the big points and then was ruthless once on top, just what you want.

Will probably play former world number 1 Milojevic in Quarters, though Serb making heavy weather of winning his Round 2 match- a set down though a break up 6-7 3-0*

Am I missing something here ?

Edit. OK, I've got it.  Junior World Nš 1

Terrific from Neil though.  Signs recently that he is getting the results that his play has deserved.

Milojevic did indeed go on to win 6-4 in the 3rd and will be Neil's QF opponent.

Lloyd is about to start.

Quarter finals sorts the men from the boys - really really hope Neil can get a result there. Would actually start to see him move up the 500s (which I know would make Bob happy). Fingers crossed for tomorrow!
