Qualifier Patrick Brady and third seed, Derrick Chen, have both posted very easy round 1 wins in the U12s.

As has Jack Draper in the U14s.

In the U14 girls, Monica won 6-1 6-1

In the U12s, Kylie won 7-5 6-1

George Davies won his match in the U14s.

However, Matt Gedney lost, 5-7 7-6(5) 6-2.

As did Harry W, against the 2nd seed, 6-3 6-2

Impressive scorelines at this stage for both Jack and Kylie. Jack has a tough match in prospect against the currently second ranked player in Europe (TE14) who beat him 6-3 6-2 in the Tennis Europe Masters event in October

Jack avenged his defeat in the Masters by an equally convincing scoreline - this tournament being played on hard (not clay as I originally indicated) may have helped Jack, who now tackles the top seed. Auray finalist Kylie continues to dominate her opponents, though her semi-final opponent is in equally impressive form.

Impressive fight - could have gone either way. Unfortunate that for some players this was their third match for the day.
