Good to see Luke progress, interesting but I suppose predictable pattern when more senior players match up against top juniors ie that of just squeezing the first set and then conceding the next two. When there is a run of futures and the same cohort of players playing a swing you often get to see repeated match ups and obvious progression ... Ie younger player looses second set on tie break .... then goes on to win third match up.
I would love to see Luke have a bit of sustained Ift singles success before stepping back up to challengers in the domestic grass season followed by an American initially futures based swing similar to the one he did with Luke in 2014 finishing with the autumn challengers.

Final number 4 - and still yet to win that elusive title. At least it's not another Brit
Anyway trivia question - Bambo got to WR 503 without winning a title, any ideas what is the best singles ranking achieved without winning a singles title? (I've no idea of the answer)
Final: (8) Luke Bambridge WR 680 vs Dominik Kellovsky (CZE) WR 1079 (CH = 1031 in October)
Here's hoping Bambo can prevail where Alex (2), Uchida (6) & de Loore (5) failed. The latter had four match points in the third-set tie-break, but failed to convert any of them, while Kellovsky converted his first! He's going to be a handful.
Great opportunity for Luke. Kellovsky has clearly been having a good week, but his general ranking and results suggest a top level less than those he has beaten. So if Luke himself plays near his best hopefully tomorrow will be his titles start.
