At a guess, the Canadian is in the area to play the Orange Bowl next week. If I'm not mistaken, he's the youngster who won the US Open doubles with Felix Auger Aliassime. And this year's Junior Davis Cup.

Hmmm. Might want to cultivate that one a bit, CD. Nguyen won, though in three sets. But I'd agree with the general principle: if you're going to lose, losing to a finalist at least feels better than losing to someone who goes out in the next round.
