Emily Appleton has made it to Egypt and needing one more scorer to get a ranking has avoided a seed and get an unranked 18yr old local with little junior pedigree

Interestingly if you search for Appleton on the ITF site there are only two. Emily and her dad.

Yay, well done Emily

Now going to be 33 ranked Brits on 07/12 ( now excluding Izzy though Katie Boulter is due to fall out for the time being on 14/12 ) of whom 10 will be juniors with Emily ( dob 01/09/99 ) now being the youngest.
