Dan had a couple of break points but Fratangelo managed to dig his way out. Just had a quick shower and come back to Dan in a bit of trouble at 3-3, deuce, but a couple of brilliant winners (the latter a flat BHDTL) dig him out.
A couple of roaring forehands give Dan another break point and he quickly gets on top of the point before stepping in to finish it off with an emphatic volley. Perfect time to break.
*5-3.

And for predictors with the contests ending next Monday ( I believe this is the last GB place in doubt ), it now moves Evo a point ahead of Brydan for GB places 5 and 6, both 'in running', 7 points each for R1 wins.
Dan : 267 - 0 + 7 = 274
Brydan : 293 - 27 + 7 = 273
With both playing 50K challengers, Evo stays ahead of Brydan if he matches his progress this week.
I was only able to watch the 2nd set, but it was good! I don't reckon Dan will often serve 7 aces in just 9 service games!
Last week, BF won 80% of his 1st serve points against Dan. Today, he managed only 56%, this is a big difference.
An interesting match up tomorrow - I'm looking forward to it, never seen young Taylor play. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that I think Dan is a slight favourite!
