Priesty good to see you are up before the kitchen spam, but this thread is in danger of turning into a poor mans version of hello or Red magazine for young tennis players which infact would probably warrant a monster thread of its own. Perhaps a "WAGS and title tattle" thread Indy?
It does however illustrate the fact when seen alongside the problems James' coach has player performance month by month can vary and be misinterpreted by crude statistical analysis ( ie has to be seen in the context of wide confidence intervals) and long term performance is a much better indicator of quality.
Kyle's ranking over the last 3 yrs has shown an upward trend with a consistent gradient and one would expect a similar pattern over the next 4 years or more. The futures bright, indeed the futures orange well strawberry blonde (perhaps we should debate hair colour! I'm gong with orange ... Purely because it fits better with the post no attempt to be discriminatory)
Just been reading through Kyle's thread from last week. I think the two post-US Open losses were during a time his girlfriend was ill in hospital in the US, so he must have had a lot on his mind. I believe he withdrew from the following tournament's to go and see her in Missouri. Glad to see that it appears all is going well now though, on both the personal and the tennis front.
Thanks very much for this info, Josh, I was totally unaware of Kyle's girlfriend being ill.

I was actually totally unaware of this too
So my lack of knowledge of such crucial matters I fear makes me ineligible to get involved in Oakland's interesting thread title idea.
