Georgina is with him in America at the moment. As you say it can only help to add some stability to his life off court and it probably helps with his on court behaviour, no self respecting lad wants to act like a complete tool in front of his girlfriend.

A well-constructed point from Dan followed by a DF from his opponent nudge the door open at 0-30
Couple of big serves followed in by Tiafoe level it, before Dan nets a return and Tiafoe crunches a lovely forehand up the line to hold
Dan to serve at *3-4

I do love it when Evo really opens up that backhand.
Some nice shot-making from both and Dan holds to 15. 4-4*

Evo at 0-30 again on the Tiafoe serve, the youngster then has to work hard for the next point before Dan nets a forehand to get us to 30-30. The next 2 points are shared before Tiafoe nets to offer up a BP, which he saves with an ace. 2nd deuce

Dan doesn't really do enough when faced with a weak 2nd serve, but Tiafoe goes wide when serve and volleying. Deuce again.
Nice rally ends with a good drop volley from the Yank, and he eventually comes through. Evo will serve to stay in the set *4-5
