Zverev's last stand was a lengthy really excellent point from both players at *4-3 40-30 to Liam. He won that point, but once Liam composedly won the next two points and that game Zverev's belief seemed to go and he kindly saved Liam from having to serve it out.
Well fought again by Liam. One area was he needed to impose himself more on receiving second serves and at least get ahead in these rallies.
Two wins that will hopefully do him a lot of good.
The key to that set for me was Evans blunting Krajicek's net approaches. A couple of smart plays in the first two games put a dent in Krajicek's obvious enthusiasm to come in. Evans then outplayed him from the back.
