Ugly win.

First set was pretty good from Naomi; very aggressive, especially on the return. Also several super forehand winners and two second serve aces. Perhaps a few too many errors to be considered a great set.

2nd set was awful from both players though each managed at least one inspired game; Julia came up with some fantastic tennis to break the first time Naomi served for the match. Naomi was at her best saving 3 bps in her previous service game. Naomi went to pieces towards the end and only just got the win through Julia's errors, having twice served for the match and then had 2 mps on her own serve in the tiebreak.  Having got the early break in the 2nd set through Julia's errors, Naomi played a very untypical game for her, broken despite getting all 6 first serves in play, making 4 poor unforced errors. More chances to break came and went at 2-2 and 3-3.
