Boys: Chang Thailand ITF Juniors, hard - Grade 2 (Week 42)

There are a remarkable 4 G2 events this week, with this the weakest. Alexis Canter is trying to take advantage. In the girls draw my attention was drawn (by an unusual flag) to a couple of Nepalese qualifiers, who turn out to be 14 year old twins. If either of them make it to the last 16 it looks like they will be the first Nepalese female to gain a ranking at junior or pro ITF level (there were 3 other young Nepalis in qualifying, including another set of twins)

R1 (L64)

(3) Alexis Canter bye

There are only a handful of Europeans here, but Alexis will face one of them tomorrow. Nepal will have to wait for its first ranked player after defeats in singles and doubles for the twins

R2

Patrick Kristensen (DEN) v (3) Alexis Canter
