Probably Jeremy Bates being there as she unexpectedly lost 4 & 4. Wasn't expecting that at all, although reflects the Japan Mayor's cup run? - but that's tennis.

Yes, a learning experience: Katie seemed to have that second set totally under control having only dropped 3 points on serve in 4 games and 100% success behind first service...until her opponent, who had been really struggling (but somehow managing) to hold her own services, from nowhere won 3 points against Katie's first serve; over and out!
Katie's a quick learner though; providing her foot holds up and having acclimatised herself she'll probably go and lift the title here next week. Here's hoping anyway! :)
I think Katie might have a slight injury, she posted on snapchat a picture of her foot taped!
Katie appears to have had a few niggly injuries over the last few months, hopefully they're just a blip, and nothing that will interrupt her long term development.
