Have never seen Mr Mmoh play; did watch a little of Tiafoe and Fritz over the weekend, on the thesis that one might as well watch them now for free, as it may not be possible for long. Got to see some of Dustin Brown, too, which is always fun. Fritz v interesting: incredibly steady. And quite a serve. Got him out of some tight spots: SF against one of the Blaz's, struggled in his first game, break point down. Missed his first serve. So is his second a nice, conservative middle of the court thing? No. Goes out wide with something at quite an angle, which must have clipped the line. Gutsy. Tiafoe also interesting - can see why there's a lot of excitement around him, too. Not so steady, though: when I dipped in once, he looked absolutely dire, and when I dipped in another time, he was playing first-rate tennis. Should be an interesting time for the US. Only thing I can recollect like it was when Tsonga, Monfils and Gasquet came through juniors at about the same time.
On a more relevant note, the doubles are on. Mr Evans and Mr Broady have just broken back, and it is 2-2 on serve.

Just won a tight serve game to lead 5-4. Novikov very unhappy about last line call (rightly as far as I can see). Novikov looks comfortable against Evans's slice which is generally a bad sign, but Evans fighting well.
QF: (2) Carsten Ball & Dustin Brown (AUS/GER) CR 250 (159+91) beat James Cluskey (IRL) & Darren Walsh CR 474 (292+182) 6-2 6-4
They were robbed with a terrible line call on match point at *5-4 deuce, but in fairness they were outclassed. Both of them have poor and rigid sideways movement, I know they are both big guys but...
