That's a very nice solid win for Liam, but I do have a nagging doubt that he may be carrying a little shoulder/arm niggle, possibly even a recurrence of the issue he had a few years back. I'm hopefully completely wrong about this, but his 1st serve winning percentage which was typically 70 or over, is now late 50s or so in recent tournaments. He also posted a photo on insta a while back which seemed to show some strapping in the shoulder area.

The head to head score on ATP website suggests that Broady & Rola haven't played each other, but I watched them do battle in Nottingham ATP qualies this year, with Rola edging a close one 6&5.

Hope Liam can even the score this evening.

Has two set points, loses the first on a double then wins the second with a nice lob volley after a pretty poor drop shot.
