Looked like a battle for Konta but she won and that's all that matters. It's a good sign that she's won so many three set matches this Summer and Autumn, of course it would be nice to have comfortable two set matches but winning when there's more pressure in the 3rd should give her even more confidence. This might have been a bit like after the Lord Mayors show given that she was playing Venus Williams on a big stadium in her last match.
