Katy broken at the start of the match, then immediately recovers the break *1-1.
Katy broken again 2-3* then again to lose the set 3-6. Only took 1/6 bps while Dalma took 3/4. If I'm reading the momentum graphs correctly, Katy had bps in 4 return games.
--
Another bp chance disappears at 1-1 in the 2nd set. Difference between the players is Dalma is winning a high percentage of her 2nd serve points. Katy with a slight edge on other stats. 2-2
Dalma currently 15/22 on 2nd serve, of which 3 are dfs. *3-4
Katy saves a bp. 4-4*
Katy broken to love. 4-6
Dalma dominant on the bps.

Thanks very much for the nighttime report, kundalini.
Pity Katy couldn't get the win, but even in that very good R2 result she's been having real difficulty holding serve this week and I read recently someone suggesting her serve seemed to have lost pace. In these circumstances against as good an opponent as Dalma she probably needed to make the best of her own BP chances, which didn't happen this time.
Overall it may be a bit of a frustrating year for Katy, pretty encouraging signs at times, but overall she has remained around about the WR 300 mark. With 49 points still to defend this year ( if you include her 30 India 25K final points which don't come off until 4th January ) I hope she can have a good end to the year.
And then would maybe benefit from a "proper" close season rather than the last very short gap before she was back out in Florida in a strange partial training / partial competing environment.
That Florida camp was also the last we saw of Katie Boulter in action this year and I wonder if the general loss of a pal, travelling companion and fellow competitor also had some negative effect on Katy.
Hears to the rest of 2015 and really pushing on again in 2016.

Galfi's a real rising star so it's a shame Katy had to meet her again; sounds like she gave it a good go but Galfi came through on the clutch points. Hey ho :(
Very good point about Katie B not being around Indy. I think it's very easy to get too preoccupied with results and to forget that our players are only human and that peer support from friends does make a difference psychologically.
Agree, vohor - a loss to Galfi doesn't really count as a loss to a lower-ranked player in my eyes. Would not be surprised at all to see Ms Galfi in the top 100 sooner rather than later. And interesting points, Indiana! Think that Ms Cavaday's blog on retirement definitely suggests that the kind of thing you mention has a huge role to play.
The entries over in Australia are really weak for 25k and Katy was unlucky to run into a top junior. The SF are Galfi, two qualifiers and the second seed.
If Katy gets a reasonable draw over the next few weeks there is no reason why she cannot pick up a hatful of points
Well, the Japan 25k next week seems far weaker than its Australian counterpart - Harriet is 7th seed despite being WR 345 in Japan, whereas Katy is only 11th in the Aussie list while being WR 291. (The US one is pretty strong, though).
Nonetheless, tennis is an individual sport and the default expectation is to mostly be travelling with just your coach (if you have one). So conversely, you could look at this year as the opportunity for Katy to blossom in her independence and develop her sense of self and determination as a touring tennis player. It's what they all have to have, for however much it sounds like that is being hard. Galfi only turned 17 yrs old two months ago whilst Katy turns 21 in four months time. The latest pic on Galfi's instagram had Katy in it so maybe she'll pick up a few helpful things from being around the Hungarian youngster if they continue to attend the same tournaments over the coming weeks.
