Week 40 - Germany F15 ($10,000) - Leimen (Hard)

Any idea what's going on? Can't believe he's just lost 5 games on the trot

Watching games on livescore can be pretty agonising, even more so for you, I'm sure. All the games were close, but Maden seemed to be taking the key points.

Neil's won first game of 2nd set so lets hope it turns round.

Neil is a break up in set 2 and the bookies have him favourite to win the match in running.

Neil gets a break at start of 2nd set then holds in a marathon third game in which he saves 4 break points.

Neil quickly breaks again, and now leads 2nd set 4-0

Amazing how things change. In many ways another close set (most games went to Deuce), but Neil winning all the big points this time and so takes it 6-0!

Betting currently suspended as there's been a lengthy delay - an MTO ?

No idea what's happening - sometimes the scoring machines break. It's gone on too long to be medical now. At least I hope so! You

I suspect Neil has won by retirement as scores don't normally fail mid game and on retirements umpires forget to press the button after the injury.

Winner plays Escoffier who won in three sets

I'm hoping he has won, but he normally messages as soon as he has finished a match and I haven't heard anything.

The indications above were that Maden has not dropped away as dramatically as the straight games scoreline might suggest. And so injury a bit less likely.

All the best to Neil whatever is occurring / has incurred.

The momentum thing on that link shows some really odd changes in balance. Match point down now after clawing back from 30-0 to 30-30
