Neil said he didn't actually play that well today - so was a good result. I'm also hoping he can pick up a chunk of points this week ready for a couple of weeks training.
The 'max points in a row' stat for the 2nd set just went up to 10 for Liam and I saw the score just as he converted from 40-0 to go 6-5 up! 4 more and you're done Liam. You can do it!

Only problem being, Liam is playing in the USA and not Germany
And he takes it 6-1 7-5! Keeping the moment going nicely! He had to fight to keep the run of consecutive sets going but that's got to be a good few now since early last week.
Neil had three Ad break points in 6th game for a double break lead but couldn't take them, and then (how often does this happen when you lose a long game) was broken in next game. Maden has now held and we're back at 4-4- time to stop the rot, Neil
And another close game slips by, Neil had break point at 30-40 but Maden saves and takes the first set 6-4 .
Stats are revealing- Maden is 2/3 on break points, Neil 1/5. Clearly still a very competitive first set, I hope the close ones go Neil's way in the 2nd.
