If Jonny could sort out his body and cut out the numerous injury problems and get the finances to play a full season on tour then there is no reason why he could be top 500. He is definitely a top doubles player.

Rossier is not a high-calibre opponent (really thought Scott would take care of him yesterday) but he needed beating and the score is wonderfully emphatic.

That win takes Jonny into his 3rd Futures singles SF, his first for more than a year. It's also his first hard court Futures singles SF - the other two were on grass and clay.

Pospisil appears to have retired after just 2 games with the score at 1-1, there seemed to be a delay between games.

I never like to see anyone retire but if anyone deserves a slice of luck it is Jonny.

Jonny has only scored one ranking point (in singles) in the whole of 2015.

(Only got 5 in total and 4 due to come off in November and December)

So it's a mega week for him - really chuffed for him.
