James Ward played well to win that first set. Seeing his level of play so far its really difficult to understand how hes lost so many matches in a row. Hopefully he can see this through and get a win.

I think it's fairly impressive when a player as reliant on his serve as James manages to win a set without facing a single BP whilst only serving at 54% first serves in

Aargh! Wardy with break point and misses a sitter to go 3-2 up, after a tremendous backhand leaves with easy put away that he pulls wide, then has another bp which he can't take. still 2-2 Deuce.

James gets to 4-2* 15-30 and then loses two points that he has got into a position to win, you can see how tight he is getting as he approaches the win he so badly needs.

Could easily have been 5-2 up, but he's not its *4-3 and still got lot to do. JP Smith is no great superstar but he keeps going to the end as Evo and Cox both know to their cost.
