Tara served 11 DFs in the 1st set, 10 in the 2nd but only 2 in the 3rd.

Well, the first and second sets did have, effectively, 14 games whereas the third set only had 9 games so the absolute number would be less even if the rate of DFs was about the same.

But it's still quite a difference (about 1.5 per game as opposed to approx 0.5 per game).

Pleased for her. She had a nice run in the doubles last week, which must have been pleasant and helped.

Wishing her good luck with the main draw. . . . .

Very good for Tara to eke out the win there and get into the main draw as she is probably still building again after her recent injury time out.

And Tara gets another Qualifier in the Main draw, which can't be bad, even though she's ex top 120.

Plays Majeric (SLO), currently about 300, although presumably better than that....
