Really want to see Evan do well. He has had a lot of setbacks to deal with. As CD mentioned he was denied a US College spot on a technicality and then several injuries kept him off the court. We all know that when Andy M had his back surgery, he was back playing within a couple of months but we didn't start seeing the real Andy for almost a year. Evan on the other hand, suffered recurring stress fractures of the back and missed almost the entire season last year. It is of no surprise to me that he hasn't made a rush up the rankings yet.
So far this year, results haven't been stellar, but for me it has been a year of rehabilitation and working on his game. Having spoken to Evan and watched him train, it is clear that the desire, the work ethic and the talent are there. I think he is a very good prospect and hopefully he will now start to reap the benefit of the hard work he has put in over the last 12 months.
Seems to be working today as he has just bagelled his opponent in the 1st set of his QF.
Now there is an MTO which I can only assume must be for Tinelli. He must be struggling after finally winning a his R2 match earlier today in an 3rd set breaker and in 3 hours 24 minutes.

Completely agree - don;t know him personally but, from the spectator's bench, a very nice game, a sporting physique and a good dose of talent.
A semi here would do him the world of good.
NB Jonnie Gray and partner lost their doubles match this morning.
