QR1: (q9) Sizya Ernest Kivanda WR 2058 lost to Jakob Johansson-Holm by 5&5. bleh

That's five unconverted games in the match and 3 set points squandered in set 2 for the Brit... Nerves?

Marcus did pick up some sort of injury at the team tennis finals, necessitating a week or two out and had issues last week with a MTO and clearly limping in his R1 loss, so I'm guessing injury issues, especially given he was already in Sweden last week ( edit : though he did play through to the doubles final )

Anyway, really hope he can get essentially injury free soon, having put in the effort to be leener / quicker. He could do with a good end to the year.

Think Ed peaked at the start of the year. He was unlucky with the change in criteria for Wimbledon Wild Card from 250-200 as he was ranked under the 250 line but it's a long way back there now.

Round-up:

R1: (1) Edward Corrie WR 318 lost to Jonathan Mridha (SWE) WR 892 5-7 6-7(5) bleh
R1: Joe Salisbury WR 713 bt Christoffer Solberg (SWE) WR 867 by 2 & 1 smile
R1: (6) David Rice WR 532 bt (WC) Milos Sekulic (SWE) WR 1018 by 3 & 1 smile

R2: Joe Salisbury WR 713 bt (8) Omar Salman (BEL) WR 655 7-6(6) 6-7(5) 6-2 biggrin
R2: David Rice WR 532 vs Casper Ruud (NOR) WR 1638

QF: Joe Salisbury WR 713 vs (3) Stefano Napolitano (ITA) WR 391

I've been following Casper's progress with interest. He's just 16 years old and already ranked #15 in the Juniors. One for the future - and Dave is struggling, down a set and a break.
