Feeling a bit smug now about being th only one to predict Jo ousting Heather . Brydan should take care of Wardy in the men's within the next month or so too.
Be a pity ( well of course not for Heather ! ) if Heather goes on a good run or two in the next month or so and you're wrong and nearly everyone else is right
But yes, while I could for quite a while well see this happening when Heather's Hobart title points came off, I didn't envisage it this year.
Go Heather

I watched most of Hev's match this morning, and to me it reflected where Hev is at the moment. Brilliant start, beating JJ in rallies even when she was playing her best tennis also, but the turning point was the 3-0 game where Hev failed to convert a BP to make it 4-0. She seemed to get disheartened when it appeared no reason for that beacuse she was playing so well, she through in 3 shockers to go 0-40 down in her next service game, before getting her mind back focussed, but it was too late, serve broken and great start wasted. JJ then started to really find her straps, and the 1st set was over in a flash. 2nd set Hev regrouped as JJ went awol, and started to complain about a leg problem for which she received a MTO for. However 3rd set she got back on the horse, whereas Hev couldn't produce her best tennis, before a late rally, but to no avail. To be fair JJ was just edging it when both players were playing at there absolute best, though if Hev had won that 1st set, I fancy she would have won it in 3. So positives, but lingering doubts re confidence after alot of disappointing defeats recently.
Shame that Joko's not on centre as I was looking forward to seeing how she was shaping up after that US open run.
I think BT Sport has it, if not its listed on online tennis streaming sites so you should still be able to watch it. Its 3rd match on no 1 court and thankfully means it will on at a reasonable time and not early hours of the morning in Europe.

I follow David Law on Twitter, and he's always plugging BT sport, and he hasn't mentioned it yet, but hopefully you're right.
If its not on BT Sport try realstreamunited and go to tennis, you'll see a list of all tennis matches with live streams, I checked and it has Kontas match.

Ms Watson and Ms Konta both come across as such lovely people and such professional, hard workers that it is delightful to see them both doing well. Long may it continue.
The difference is now that I don't feel JoKo will throw the match because of her head. Before I was always nervous even if she was the better player. If she loses cos her opponenet was better then fair enough - the head thing though, was doing my head in
