I'll be honest, I thought that line call at 5-5 in the TB was harsh on the Italian. Happy with that though, Evo did well to come back from behind both in the set and in the TB. Let's have a more comfortable second set please Dan!!

Do hope that James is not significantly inconvenienced by his back issue.

Real blow for Polansky to come back from 5-1 down and then ultimately lose a tight TB with a DF.

Terrific way to start the Aussie Open for Team GB with 2 wins from 2 so far.

Evo takes out the top seed Vanni, whose legs had gone by the middle of the 2nd set. While Wardy, overcomes a dodgy back to also win in straight sets.

What a night for Evo. Absolutely, I expected a win. Evo2015 built to consistent top 100 form by the end, so although he got a bum draw here, like many commenting on the thread, I felt his Italian opponent would have his work cut out (probably the worst draw he could get).

Much more remarkably for Dan and showing anything is possible, Villa beat Palace!!!!!
