I assume we'll have a new thread but qualies draw is now out.

Top Quarter of the draw - Evo gets top Q seed Luca Vanni (WR 104)
Second Quarter - Brydan plays Peter Gojowczyk (WR 224)
Third Quarter - Wardy up against Peter Polansky (WR 256)

Afraid I don't have time to do a thorough look at their respective sections, but safe to say a pretty tough draw for Dan

Ward and evans first up 10am on respective courts. Means I cant get from work to watch. They will also play before it gets hot. Forecast is 41 degrees.

Brydan and James with 1st round matches that they'd be expected to win but a sharp step up from there on. Tough 1st round for Dan but one he's capable of winning, and a potential FQR match-up with Fratangelo if he can get that far. My heart tells me our boys can all make it through, but my head says I'd be surprised if more than one of them makes FQR. Hope the head's wrong!

Vanni is second alt for the main draw at the last count I see on menstennisforums, but not much time for a couple more withdrawals.

We can always hope though I guess Indy. Probably a silly question but I assume he'd be replaced by a Q-list alt if he did get bumped up to the MD?

Not a bad draw for James, surely a good chance of qualifying, Klein possibly. Terrible draw for Vanni.

Yes, I would assume so. But that early scheduled start for the Evo vs Vanni match leaves little time for withdrawals.

I think Dan will fancy his chances actually, especially if he can get to FQR vs Fratangelo following their matches last year. and always the chance Vanni will sneak into the main draw too.
Decent draw for James, has a chance.
Tough section for Brydan I think with the likes of Fritz in there.

I see that Matthew Ebden as half expected has a WC, so that should now make Vanni first alt for the main draw.
