Love the idea of Kyle going out to play a deciding rubber in a Davis Cup final, and there being "no pressure" on him haha! Seriously??....

This is a much easier selection than the SF, Leon made good choices for the SF, he picked the form player and didn't go for the East option.
Kyle on clay stands a chance of beating one even both Belgians, realistically Dan did his best against the Aussies and took a set. Our doubles boys could also beat the Belgium pair regardless of their choice, if Andy needs rest we should trust the team. If he's good to go then he plays, it just depends on the Knick he is in on returning from the O2.

Mike Dickson suggesting that tickets may be available by ballot method due to high demand, although the Stirling Barmy Army and those in that section may get priority.
Belgium tickets only available to their members.
Heck, how many could the Stirling Barmy Army take up ? It seems to be growing !
I get that they have been there for the long haul, though certainly in recent times they have seemed very well looked after, and I don't particularly find them annoying as one or two folk have expressed, more particularly when well outnumbered, and are leaders of the support but not THE support.
But I don't think they should take up a particularly big % of the GB allocation. Ballot / choose within themselves if necessary.

fyi i was there on the friday and the "stirling uni barmy army" section of blue shirts was also made up of edinburgh, glasgow and st andrews uni's tennis club. the stirling uni group was actually quite small! wouldnt of imagined there was more than 10-20 of them there.

Thanks, huntley, I wondered out loud about that at the time, because it seemed such a big group.
So if we're just taking about possible special treatment for the Stirling Uni regulars it may not be that big a count

no problem, have a feeling stirling also have exams in december so that will probably help reduce the number. its the main reason aberdeen uni tennis club arnt looking into going. also we bumped into the stirling lot at the station after and pretty sure there are a good few that are no longer students!
off topic we got any idea where the next years first round tie will be played? quite keen for a weekend away in manchester or newcastle somewhere like that especially since thats my birthday weekend!
as other fan groups get tickets it really seems a shame that this forum isn't able to get any tickets or is it ?
just a shout for all the folks on here who have supported above and beyond for many years.
Indeed, emma, some names instantly spring to mind, who I don't mention, just because I'd no doubt be missing others who have been here, there and everywhere in support of Brits and most certainly many who have supported in many tournaments.
So sorry for not mentioning you, Bob in Spain and philwrig
