Sadly it didn't get much better in the 2nd set, but Josh did at least avoid the double bagel losing 0&1

This would have been another step up for milts, probably in top 200 form, top 100 opposition a step too far for the time being. A kinder draw in a few of the autumn challengers and we could be seeing a few Anglo/Aussie - Welsh semi finals

I'm rather doubting that Josh was in top 200 form today, and arguable whether he was previously though he has been in pretty decent form.

First set points stats certainly look grim. Bad day at the office, particularly bad match-up, who knows ...

Was there any stream ?

Maybe it was a bad matchup for Milts, similar player who is just that little bit better. I think you could make a strong point that Josh was playing at top 200 level during the summer, but obviously today just wasn't his day.

i'm not sure I ever recall a player not winning a point on serve in an entire set...!
though hopefully just a blip for Josh, and that he can challenge his career high shortly - not too many points to defend this year

A poor result for Brydan - that said his improvement, in my opinion in the last 9 months has been large.

Consistent challenger performer and a stable ranking with 20 counters all over 6 points.

Just wish he wouldn't hit himself on the head with his racket!
