Indeed, Mr Qureshi has always seemed an excellent player to me and this pairing may have the legs to go pretty deep here.

I remember all those years ago when both Qureshi and JM were trying to cut it as singles players - they played each in the singles final of a 15k event in Uzbekistan. Qureshi's coach commented after the match that Johnny made only 3 unforced errors in the whole match!  JM won back to back 15k events in Uzbekistan, he seemed to be going places in singles.

i remember being at that match at wimbledon many years ago vs karol beck, where he squandered a match point and other winning positions - was so disappointing at the time as he really looked like he was going places!  enjoyed his attacking game and have taken a higher-than-average interest since, always particularly pleased when he does well

Worth noting that Jonny and Aisam didn't face a single BP all match, but couldn't take any of their NINE! Shame.

Pity, especially with these BP chances, an ATP 250 SF would have been rather nice.
