Blink'ova is known to be slow off the blocks. Katie should be extra vigilant in third set.

Into a deciding tie-break. Katie has played a lot of tie-breaks recently, but generally they have been first sets rather than deciders.

Katie wins the tie break 7-5!! Won the last three points having been behind throughout the breaker.

Looks like (as far as you can ever tell from stats) a really good win from Katie - serving stats pretty solid on both sides with Aces far outweighing DFs (Katie was 15-4), and coming through a tight match is always going to be a big confidence boost.

Yes great win, dominant serving stats, but the great part about her game is she can move around the court well and defend, so no major weaknesses.

Next up for Katie is 17 year old Cristina Bucsa WR 769 and Junior WR91. You would think a repeat of today's performance would see her safely through that one.
