Good to see Ali Collins getting a win, I don't think anyone from Dunblane was going to loose yesterday!

Ali Collins has certainly been following an aggressive schedule in terms of junior grade and senior tournaments.

Of course, ambition and testing yourself is good, but it's not yielding very many competitive matches, which must also be important.

I think Ali Collins is off to Bolotieri's, this year, if I remember right.

Seems a decent score against a top 1000 player. Ali has a very nice game.....

Been a while since jazzamay has had anything to get pleased about.....

Katie Swan is in the main draw here, and plays unranked Wildcard Lidia Moreno Arias of Spain in round 1.
Isabel Wallace plays 5th seed Anna Klasen of Germany

Interesting, thanks. For clarification re "competitive matches" by Ali, I meant not many tournament matches. It does certainly seem a decent score.

And in the dubs, Katie is playing with Ramialison (FRA), Izzy with Chiesa (ITA) (4th seeds), Ali with Blinkova (RUS), and Dommie with Eklund (FIN), as wildcards but drawn against the top seeds.

Ali sounds a very impressive young lady and good luck to her! I know this may be considered an outrageous slur in some quarters but do you think her dad is responsible for furnishing britishtennis.net with spam?
