Really Heathers form is going from bad to worse , she hasn't won a match since Wimbledon and if she doesn't wake up soon she could have real problems early next year staying in the top 100. It's especially disappointing given she started the season well by winning the title in Hobart.
It looks like Heather is following in the footsteps of James Ward.
Neither have won since Wimbledon
Liam barely has either. One win in six tournaments, I think.
Mind you, Naomi did pretty much the same last year - barely won a match for the rest of the year, after a very good Wimbledon. And then suddenly it all came right ..... here's hoping.
What's also disappointing to me is that she has barely had a "difficult" first round draw all year. Given these things even out I imagine she is going to be getting some god awful draws next year.
While true you expect about the same number of good and bad draw, heads and tails etc over time, "chance" has no memory, you are always starting from time zero in that regard. So no reason for a run of bad to follow good
But yes, she has had overall very decent draws for a while, though I rather thought this one shouted "danger" to Heather if she was not near her best.

Whilst Heathers form isn't great.
She did in fact qualify and win a MD match in Cincinnati
This is pretty even, but Lykina is a little bit loose from the back and throwing in a few UEs which is what's been making the difference so far. Koreans are a solid pair
