RE: Week 37 - Challenger ($50,000) Cary, USA (Hard)

Shame that, fine margins. Josh had chances to break back

Indie Really like the idea of The Aussie Open count down, gives the butt end of the singles season some worth from a saddo British tennis fan perspective

Of course we have a bit of team tennis on which to feast in the short term.

Forgot about this in the DC excitement!
Great result for Brydan - Fratangelo has been a regular fixture in challenger semis and finals this year
Dead pleased for the lad, he seems to have worked hard and plays a lot of matches

Bet he was thinking "I'll show the buggers [back in Glasgow]"... wink

Evo did OK though showing the bugger in the commentary box.

Still very well done, Brydan !

He is indeed, his switch of allegiance to GB took place before the ITF changed their rules on DC eligibility

He'd presumably be eligible even if switching later, having not to my knowledge ever played Davis Cup for Australia.

I think he did play DC for Australia a few years back - I'm sure I read it somewhere but I could be wrong
