Shame for AJ, though I'm happy as Evo moves another step closer to the semis on Saturday, where I'm determined to watch. Hoping Dan C can make it through on the other side of the draw too.

You got your wish on that one
Dan C wins 6-4 6-2
Edit: Oops - I just re-read it and see that you meant through to the semis - sorry, my fault....
And young Luke Oakley has just taken the first set 6-2 against Joe.

Can someone tell me a bit about Niel Pauffley please? I have spotted him getting some very positive comments on this sight so I'm curious and eager to know more.I am assuming he is coming back from injury currently but I get the impression that his CH of about 400 is not too reflective of his potential either - if so what is the story behind him not doing more by age 25? I notice he did pretty well against Evo last week. What kind of style does he play? Hoping to find him causing an upset this lunchtime.
An "inside source" of mine, once told me that if you ever ask Neil how is game is going, it doesn't matter if he has just dished out a double bagel or suffered one himself, he will always say, "It's going pretty well, I'm playing OK". Not one for expressing emotional extremes - or so I am told.
As for his game itself, I have only seen Neil play once. That was at a La Manga training camp a couple of years ago. He played Kyle in a 5 setter on clay. Excellent match too. Despite Neil winning the 1st set 6-0, Kyle came back to beat him in the 5th. If I were to describe the style, I would say it is built around solidity and consistency rather than flair. Of course, that may have changed over the last couple of years and one match is not a big "sample" to base any real judgements upon.
